call for price showing with price £0.00 - no price set

I have items set to call for price, no price set - however these show as £0.00 on the page along with the text "Call for price"

I simply want a call for price item not to have a price displayed when the price is set to 0 or if an item is set to call for price.

I have clicked umpteen switches but cannot for the life of me stop the 0.00 showing as the price, when an item has no price and the call for price is checked.

Store is 1.54

Could you check if this Product that is set to Price 0.00 and marked as Call for Price might have a Special set on it?

No special price set.

Item has no price set in price box and is set to call for price (when you edit the product 0 jumps into the price box automatically)

adding the code to around 285 of the functions_prices.php file - but it doesn't seem to make a difference.

Just stuck!

Call for price text appears on the product detail page - but £0.00 appears as the price for the item.

So far, in v154 I cannot get a Product marked as Call for Price and set to a Price of 0 to show the price unless I put a Special on it ...

This also will happen if the Product is in a Category marked for a Sale with SaleMaker ...

Is the master_categories_id for this Product a Category that has a SaleMaker sale on it?

No categories or products are in the sale maker.

Just to close this thread - this was down to a bought template - nothing to do with zencart -HUGE thank you Ajeh - coffee & a cake bought!

Perhaps if you remain stuck for a lot longer on this, now that you have narrowed it down to the template ... you might say as much or suggest where you got the template etc. and someone may know why it is moofing up the price on Call for Price products ...
