Thanks for the advice, I'll upgrade it now - does it cost to upgrade? Also I didn't see a link to download the upgrade - do I have to do it within the software?

The software is provided free. See the first page of this site: http://zen-cart.com for obtaining and for server requirements. The assistance obtained from this site is free. If you approach someone specifically, they may withholf assistance for a fee. That is up to you and them to address. A link ought to also be available (ahem) in the admin screen upper right corner, but that assumes one can get to their admin. *tongue-in-cheek*.

The suggested "upgrade" process for this version is a rebuild of the software with an upgrade of the database:

Just one question though, when I click on anything in the admin it takes me to the login page were I need to log in again before it then goes to that page - is that normal or have I missed something?

No that is not normal - have you upgraded your files?

Yes I've done both of those and have also noticed that when I save something in the admin it doesn't updated (images aren't saved to the server and changes aren't stored in the database)
