Add Order Details (Product Purchased, Category, and Quantity) to Confirmation Emails

Hello,
Currently we the only details we get when a customer orders a Product is the amount they paid. We get no further details.
Could I get direction on which document I should be modifying?
I am new to ZenCart and a novice with PHP.

Can you add some details please as suggested in the posting tips? Please include your zencart version and any modifications you have made, template, etc.

Also, I just want to make sure that I understand you question. When you say that you are only getting amount paid, from where, or at which point in the checkout process are you talking about? Is it in the confirmation email? Or in the frontend when you look at your orders?

Are you referring to in your ZenCart admin under customers > orders > select order > select edit???
