    Default IPN paypal settings...

    Hi guys,
I have my paypal all set up for my website. However I have started selling on a site called folksy.

When I receive an order on there it says awaiting payment, however when I check my Paypal, I have received the money.
I contacted Folksy and they said it is due to my IPN settings.

I don't want to just change things and it mess up my website.

What would I need to do?

    Thanks
    A

In the admin module setup you should see this
    Code:
    Payment Action
How do you want to obtain payment?
    Default: Final Sale

    Auth Only
    Final Sale
    Select Final sale

    Hi,
If you mean in my admin, I have just noticed that it says under API signiture username... *******api1.(email host).co.uk
This email is also registered to my paypal but not my main used one. I have it linked to two emails, one I use more than the other.
SO does this mean that it needs to be changed on my admin to what I now use which is the paypal email registered on folksy?

As far as I know this should not be the issue as I think I have also taken a payment on folksy under that old email for my paypal and still had that issue.
    Just thought I would check.
If that makes no sense to you at all, don't worry I am sure it should be fine as the two are linked anyway.

If this is not it I am not sure what to check under admin or in my website files..

    Thank you
    Amy

No, that is not the issue.
Yes, in Zen Cart it is normally set to Final Sale. But rainbow_pix issue is related to Folksy using the IPN response to complete their orders.

Zen Cart is smart enough to send its own correct IPN URL with each payment submitted by Zen Cart. But it appears that Folksy is not.
If you're going to use Folksy, you will need to set your IPN URL (inside your PayPal account) to point to the IPN URL given to you by Folksy. Ask Folksy for that information. Then Folksy will be able to listen to those IPNs to confirm the Folksy orders as paid.
