For exsample, I want to install DrBety backup mysql; follow installation instruction upload all the fileafter I couldn't see any new item in admin tools menu.
Also follow the link you give to me, I didn't find any file init_backup_mysql.php there, only see reg_backup_mysql.php.

I think this issue maybe relation about reg ID for admin menu, because not only backup mysql, when install every thing not can see at admin menu.

there should have some thing wrong, just I don't know.

thanks for you reply. I really need help for this.

So, to ensure everyone understands the current condition, could you please provide the answers to the posting tips questions? In particular about the version of ZC being used and it's history?

Installation of the current version of that plugin ought to be automatic when installed properly to a properly functioning site.

The "latest version" of DrByte's backup-mysql plugin will automatically add itself to the Admin menu as long as the /admin/includes/functions/extra_functions/reg_backup_mysql.php file is present.
