Please help, Category Links in Logo image

I am not a programmer and have been basically fumbling around trying to find an answer on how to fix this. If you have a solution: first thank you, second explain it to me as if I were a child. Go find "X" and do "y" most likely will not help me. Novice

Ok, that said I created a new "logo.gif" and uploaded it to my website and in my ignorance thought the Category / Products Navigation bar would move down under the logo.gif. I am obviously wrong. So, what do I need to do to move the Navigation bar under the image.

Please help me if you can, this is driving me insane.



Also, any recommendations for books or websites to learn more about php would be awesome.

In your stylesheet.css file which is located at
includes/templates/classic/css/

FTP it to your PC and use a code editor to open it
Search for #logoWrapper
You currently have height as 75px - change it to 150px and save
Ftp it back to where you downloaded it from

#logoWrapper {background-repeat : repeat-x;background-color : #ffffff;height : 150px;}

BTW: one should not use the classic template as it can be useful for troubleshooting
You can rename the classic folder to something else like "extensive"
Edit the template_info.php file to reflect the new template name
This line

$template_name = 'Classic Contemporary Green';

to something like

$template_name = 'extensive';
