Product is Free, Free Shipping Orders - How to change Order Status

Hi Everyone, I hope you can help me.

I've setup "Product is Free" on 1 product on my website. It has free shipping selected too and "shipping address required" selected. It's so clients can order free samples.

When a client places an order, I want the order to go into my "Order Received" order status that I have setup rather than my "Processing Order" order status that it currently goes into by default. I cannot find anywhere that I can select what order status is given to these free order.

Can anyone help me?

During checkout, the order-status assigned to the completed orders is determined by the payment module used to pay for the order.

So, if someone is using Free Charger to buy free items, then you can go to the free-charger payment module settings in your Admin, and change its Order Status to something else, and now subsequent orders will be set to that status upon order completion.

Perfect, many thanks. I didn't even have the free-charger payment module installed. I knew it would be something straight forward. Amazing help and much appreciated!

Just to note, I had to add a higher value sort order to the free-charger payment module for it to show up at checkout (might just be my install, but it could help). To clarify, if you have products marked as FREE, you require the free charger payment module to be installed otherwise you get standard errors such as (we are not accepting payments etc) at the checkout.
