Column issues on Product Listings with Sheffield Blue template

Ok, I am using column in my product listings. For an example I have 10 products in one category. When set "Product Listings - Columns Per Row" to 6 it shows all 10 instead of 6 per page. I am not sure it has to do with the Stylesheet with my Responsive layout. Can someone help me with this?

Product Listings - Columns Per Row" to 6 should give 6 columns of products
The number of products on a page is set in "Maximum Display of Products All Page", which sounds like it is set to a number greater than 10.

You probably want columns per row to be 2 or 3, and maximum products to be 6.

I think that 6 is too few products to have on a page, but that is a different issue...

Well when I change it to 3 columns it only gives me 3 columns and one row thats it. What I want is 3 Columns with 3 rows.

Can someone help me! I am having an issue on the column on my product listings. Its on my desktop layout. You can see here:

Changing the columns per row is not going to change the number of products on a page.

Looking at your site now, I see 2 columns & 18 products if I choose "all products"

Can you please confirm:
1/ that your "columns per row" is set to 2 (and therefore working as expected)
2/ what your "Maximum Display of Products All Page" is set to. From what you have said you want, it should be 9.
