1. Which v155 zip did you use?
2. Were there any other /logs/ files, particularly named something like zcInstall-DEBUG-xxxxxx.log ?
3. Which MySQL version are you using?


I suspect there's a data incompatibility being encountered, caused by MySQL version requirements. Just need to find out "what", to fix the data, and then let the upgrade do its thing normally.

- Which version 155,, not sure what you mean by this, I downloaded it via link on zencart forum bit cannot remember, did use sourceforge
- Does not seem to be making any other logs.
- not sure how to check what my sql other than what is tays on the error which is that I managet to upgrade to 1.5.2 then get the error...

Okay, those are the issue.

Can you go find out which date was in the filename of the zip you downloaded from SourceForge? There were a few different ones, and the most recent one contains some fixes to deal with the datetime thing.

I think you may need to clean up your countries table though. Not sure how/why you've got extra countries in there.

You ARE doing this upgrade on a separate test copy of your store, right? Not on the live site directly, right?

You could try running this query on your database using phpMyAdmin:

update zen_customers set customers_dob='0001-01-01 00:00:00' where customers_dob='0000-00-00 00:00:00';

And then it would be helpful to know what country in your database has id number 246, and why it's there.

29th 3rd 2016 it looks like, for the version that I am using. I have just gone on sourceforge to re download and it looks like the same date.

Just tried to type the queery and it says no database selected. I have tried to click the database I want and it does nothing.
