I forgot where the random new products on the main page settings is in the admin area? I use to set it to 1000. I can't remember where it was.

There is a search tool in tools->Developers Toolkit that can search on database configuration information on words. So could search through the current site for random and on the site where you seem to recall using that "feature". See if there are differences and possibly identify what customization might have been performed to offer the feature you remember.

As time marches on, ZC will remove product from the NEW listing based on settings in the configuration->new listing window. Once removed, they would need to be added back by a SQL command to place them back into the applicable table so as to be available for display within the new listing box(es). I can't seem to recall which option it is and the available settings, but take a look at the configuration->new listing area and review the settings there identifying the values set.

What I am looking for is Random New Products for main module on the main page. Where it can rotate all categories.
Ok, now my main website is only showing newest products that enter. I have a lot products since 2 weeks and its now showing them in module. Its just mainly showing the newest products that I enter say the last 24 to 48 hours. How can I fix this?
