Requesting an Product Share to Facebook in Admin Area....

Currently I have an idea for a Facebook sharer in the Admin area without using the link from the main website. You can see the black icon next to the (e) will be (f) Facebook. When you click on that (f) icon it will pull up an Facebook sharer like next image below the first image.

Is there a way to share my products to Facebook without using a link from the address bar from the Main Website?

There are only two way (that I know) to share products of FB.

1) Copy and paste the images and descriptions directly into your facebook account.
2) Paste a link to the products into your facebook account.

Why am I getting a gut feeling that I'm not quite understanding the question? Perhaps I'm not alone, which could explain a lack of other replies?

What I am trying to do is here is image what I am wanting to accomplish. When you click on the (f) for Facebook it will share that product to Facebook without having to go to the products website address to show that product. So I can just do it from the Admin.

I haven't found a nice plugin to share ( buit in zencart ), I've try socialshare ( as I recall the name ) , but didn't like it or I didn't understood it or something was wrong.
So I'm using addthis, nice and simple, but it's another service sniffing this site, and another service to wait while loading the page. I'm actually only loading addthis on products page.

About the images, sometimes if the page takes long to load, FB will use another image, or if the products image doesn't have the minimum dimensions.
And also, the first time you share a new url, usually the image doesn't get loaded either. But if your refresh your share, you'll see the correct image.

There's a developers dedub tool on Facebook to check your shares, markup, etc.

So, even if you make the admin share button, you'll probably get the same result on the first time you share
In google + this doesn't happen, but in FB, until now, it does.

Aha. The penny drops - I concur with mesnitu - use "addthis" (https://www.addthis.com) as it is probably the simplest/easiest solution.

I've only ever seen this used on the front end / products pages myself - but the javascript that drives it looks like it'll be pretty easy to paste into the admin side of things.

ps. Just thought I'd add - I probably wouldn't recommend adding this to the admin side of things - It is going to 'leak' your admin folder name.

Ok, when I share one of my products to Facebook it came out like this.


But when I edit my image from a different program it came out to this. How can I get that image come out like the bottom image instead the top image without going through an image program? On the bottom I would like to share just like the bottom image instead of the top image.
