Can I link to product page on image in header? Slideshow?

What is the absolute easiest way to include a slideshow on my website.

I have been playing around with adding images that link to the product pages to my header or body of the main page.
Ideally, I would like to have it in the header but under the breadcrumbs would work.

Easiest would be to use one of the templates that already has one included
Try one of the responsive templates as Google is wanting to see this feature anyway
