Contact us dropdown menu not working properly

Zen 1.5.5a
Admin>e-mail options>Set "Contact Us" Email Dropdown List

This was working correctly and then I made a change in the email addys. That was fine. I then changed the email addys again and they're not showing correctly.
Instead of showing Carol <[email protected]>, it shows Carol &lt;[email protected]&gt;
Of course this shows incorrectly on the web page and the email addy doesn't work.

Any idea as to what happened and how I can fix it?

I think that this was fixed in ZenCart v1.5.5a

Actually, in v155a things are getting a bit "too cleaned" resulting in this issue ...

Try using just:
[email protected]

That's putting it lightly. Even the <strong>Test<br />Three</strong> demo product gets cleaned which completely throws the responsive_classic layout out-of-wack.

I cannot repeat this in v155a ... can you make sure that your files are all current and up to date on the server?

Please post your settings from admin > config > email options

You might also get and install email archive manager and set admin > config > email options > Email Archiving Active? > true

This will allow you to determine if ZenCart is creating the emails - from there it is up to your hosting MTA(mail transport agent) to take it from there as ZenCart has done it's job

I had done it that way previously and it didn't work. That's why I was posting here. It was working before I upgraded to 1.5.5a

This is what it looks like when I do it your way on the admin page:
"Set "Contact Us" Email Dropdown List Carol &lt;[email protected]&gt;, Support &lt;[email protected]&gt;"
Note that it's not HTML.
The email addys don't work on the contact us web form

Your settings list the transport method as "PHP" but then you have entered your SMTP details for [email protected]
All of your other email addys are [email protected]
Did you install the email archive manager?
What are the results?
You still have this listed in the contact area

I thought you set it as Ajeh stated to
