Default Re: System inspection does not offer database upgrade

I'm getting the same issue. No reason why the Upgrade button doesn't show:

The new upgrade system looks nice but seems to have a lot of bugs. I continuously need to use the zc_install from 1.5.4 first, then use the new installer just for the latest update.

How does your upgrade process compare or diverge from here?

When piggy-backing on an existing thread to declare having the same issue, should also identify the similarities and differences in reproducing it.

That strongly suggests the wrong DB_PREFIX.

As for "seems to have a lot of bugs", those are fancy words, but without enumerating specifically what "bugs" you think exist, it's really difficult to substantiate such a claim, and basically impossible to help you overcome the problems let alone 'fix' those alleged "bugs" so that others don't run into them.

So ... care to provide the details from the zcInstall---xxxxx.log files, a detailed summary of the history of the site and what might possibly be preventing the relatively simple detection system from detecting your sites' unique oddities, AND a detailed list of all the "alleged bugs" that you seem to think exist? Let's fix them instead of just making blanket statements.
