Can I get audible alerts for new orders?

I make pizza order web-pages. I want to follow orders from the admin order page. And I want to get print orders to invoice page. But I need warning ringing tone, when the new order came.

Important for me.

There's a plugin for SMS on New Orders, which might be something you could leverage for your unique needs.

You could also set up your mail client to ring a bell when a new order email comes to [email protected]

Alternatively you could probably set up a script on your local machine which checks the db on the server every x seconds and goes bing every time there is a new order.

Is your server located locally? If it is, then I would guess you could add a ding to one of the pages which works on the order confirmation.

I am using thunderbird. Even it is possible to print automatically when the new orders come whit thunderbird. But, for a long time I am doing websites to pizzerias with zen cart. My experiences, follow orders from admin panel better than thunderbird or outlook.

I do not understand, why is it so difficult to do voice alerts when in the new order comes.
