Default ZC1.5.4->1.5.5b upgrade, ENABLE_SSL is blank

Performing a "simple" Zen Cart 1.5.4 -> 1.5.5b upgrade. Both the storefront's ENABLE_SSL and the admin's ENABLE_SSL_CATALOG are set to 'false' upon starting the upgrade.

After the upgrade, both of the updated configure.php files' values have been changed to blank ('').

Same result in a clean install, not ticking the checkbox asking whether/not the catalog side is to operate in SSL mode. Both definitions are recorded as blank ('') in the respective configure.php files.

    Thanks for pointing this out.

    Things of note:
    - the only value considered when these constants are used is whether they're set to 'true' or not. Anything else is assumed false, including blank.
    - zc_install auto-detects whether SSL is functional on the current URL, and sets the checkbox to checked (and redirects zc_install to run on https) ... so unchecking the box is somewhat unusual

That last install was on a non-SSL-enabled localhost environment, so the checkbox wasn't initially checked.

Note also that, while the ZC 1.5.5a/b as-shipped code might have all been updated to recognize ENABLE_SSL values of == 'true' and != 'true', there are some templates and plugins that didn't get that email. I unfortunately did not record the template and/or plugin that was giving me grief after that upgrade when the ENABLE_SSL setting was empty.

Hmmm ... I'm curious why plugins would look at ENABLE_SSL at all, when they should be generating URLs with zen_href_link instead. (Sure, I know not everybody "gets" that, but it's much simpler to use zen_href_link than to do manual inspections of ENABLE_SSL constants and conditional actions, when zen_href_link already takes care of that).

Still, thanks for pointing this out.
