Hai,

Althoug the text underneeth the 'layout boxes controller' screen (see below)

my experience is that it does change the sort order but it also ad's boxes which
where off and/or swapt them from left to right ??

how come ?

On loading of the page, any boxes found to be defined are added to the list, but their settings may not be as desired. By pressing the reset button they are changed to match the "default" sequence and other information. For example if you modified the condition of a box and then pressed the reset button, then the changes just made should be undone. It does not necessarily or always just swap the boxes around nor arbitrarily change the sort order.

Does that help at all? I'm not sure that the real question is understood.
