    Default problem about edit products details(responsive_sheffield_blue)

    I started to input the first product details.
    It's ok without problem.
    but when I tried to click the "edit" button to revise this product again,
    the page is empty . what's wrong ?
    And when I go the the admin home page again , this product is still there.
    And I tried to click the "edit" button again . the page is empty again.

    Looks like you have an incomplete template install. The banner across the top should not remain. It is not likely the specific cause of your current problem, but whatever is/was causing that may be related.

    As mesnitu suggested check your error logs as described in the following about receiving a blank or in this case partial blank screen: http://www.zen-cart.com/content.php?124-blank-page

    I couldn't help notice that you've been a forum member since 2014, which leads to the question, is this a new new installation or an upgraded site? Your wording implies it is a new installation, in which case, follow the suggestions already given. However, if this is an upgrade, this problem could be the result of a change of the default character set than Zencart is now using. Admittedly, I think I'm probably on the wrong track here, but I still think it is worth considering.

    Also, somewhat related (and also may not be relevant in your case), but when you added the product details, did you type in the text, or did you do a cut 'n' paste from another source? A cut 'n' paste could introduce restricted characters, and that can have the same effect.

    Just a couple of thought/ideas worth considering (or eliminating)

    Post them but ensure to obscure your secret admin folder name before submitting the post. Also, please click the # button in the message toolbar to add [code] and [/code] tags between which to post the most recent error log.
