Our customers tend to get grumpy when the delivery time is not met. USPS spec for 1st class thick envelope or package is up to 10 days but customer expectation is that of a 1st class letter. If it takes 1 day to manufacture before shipping, customer on sees 3 days from when the order was printed, even if 5 minutes past the local usps cutoff/pickup so order would not ship until tomorrow with zero manufacturing time. Thats why it is next to useless for us.

Some, but that's why I said they have a reputation of not playing well with others ....... Ajeh and I have tons of personal experience with that. They're way better in the last couple years since we've been communicating with them regularly. But they still think they're god and very much march to the beat of their own drum. (I'll refrain from making political comments here.)

Short answer: Don't expect much more from them, unfortunately.

You could do something in the module's code to completely intercept the final output display text and replace the long names with your own predefined shorter names. But remember when you do that that you're messing with trademarked information, and they might give you grief over that.
