Free Shipping promotion for x amount of days

Ok I have looked around the forum several times and cannot seem to find the solution for this.

We want to offer free shipping on purchases over x amount from this date to that date. Site wide sometimes excluding Items on Sale other times. Sometimes we want to only offer it to certain zones and when we do that we want to offer the other zones a $x amount off of their order.

We really don't want to use a coupon code....just want to to show up as free shipping as the person is shopping or when they put something in their cart.

Is this possible withOUT a coupon code? If so, could someone lead me to the place were I can find it.

You could use the Free Shipping Options freeoptions shipping module setting the Total >= 0 and just change the Zone Definition that this is available for and it will show as needed ...

Then, you would need to customize it further if you want to limit it based on other needs ...

As to the date period, you would have to manage enabling and disabling as needed, unless you customized the code further to manage the date ranges as well ...

Thanks Ajeh, that was the only way I knew how to do it.
Unfortunately, I do not know how to customize the code for the date range....wish I did. Do you have any suggestions? or at least where I could go look?

Here is am back searching the forum for a way to set up Free Shipping from this day to that day, (6/1/16 to 6/19/16) that ZenCart will automatically toggle?
And I found my old post but not a solution yet.

Is there anyone out there that can help me?
