product display limit

I have a clean install of 155a. Using even the classic green template, if I have one product in a category, the product displays as it should. But if I add any more products to that category, I get no products displaying. This happens with responsive templates also, which would suggest a configuration issue or a malfunction of some kind.

I have checked the relevant configuration elements, but all seems in order. Chrome developer tools shows nothing in centerColumn under productListHeading.

You'll need to check your /logs folder for any debug files and look at any changes you made to the code either through direct editing or the addition of a module.
Something is stopping page load after the break.

However I can see that you have "Slimbox" installed?
What other alterations have you made?
Did it works before you added Slimbox?

Quite right. I lost track trying to sort out this mess. I have installed westminster_new template. And all the errors are like t his:

The file product_listing.php is modified by the template, and line 15 is

$listing_split = new splitPageResults($listing_sql, MAX_DISPLAY_PRODUCTS_LISTING, 'p.products_id', 'page');

But I don't know what this is telling me as the line is identical in the stock 155a version of the file:

$listing_split = new splitPageResults($listing_sql, MAX_DISPLAY_PRODUCTS_LISTING, 'p.products_id', 'page');

I do now. A mess of my own making. Hadn't uploaded /includes/classes/split_page_results.php.

That shouid fix all the errors logged. And I should do something else. Thanks for your responses.

Also be sure to apply (if the template hasn't been updated on the website) the "patches" identified here.

I discovered several related posts and after following through on them decided to delete the whole thing and start from scratch. All in the interests of thoroughness and consistency. Somewhat lacking in thoroughness obviously, because in that process I failed to upload /includes/classes/split_page_results.php. Hence the errors.

Having done that, and applied the patches, all is well. Your assistance is much appreciated.
