why do some items say "more info" and others have a "buy now" graphic?

I'm looking after a zencart site during the illness of a volunteer and have a few questions.

why do some items say "more info" and others have a "buy now" graphic?

As we move towards print on demand, many items are either a downloadable ebook or a link to amazon - is there any way of integrating this, other than by a link to amazon in the description?

The products that have "... more info" are your downloads, which are configured as product attributes. Normally, the attribute-selection requires that the product's details page (e.g. product_info) be displayed to enable the customer to make that selection.

If your products have a single attribute (i.e. no selection required), swguy's recently submitted a plugin that will enable those products to be purchased directly from your product-listing pages.

Hmm, there's something "funny" going on with at least this product.

See how your site's "footer section" is missing from that page? That's referred to as a "partial whitepage" or "partial rendering" of the page, implying that there's some PHP-related issue (reported in a myDEBUG*.log file in your /logs folder.
