admin password reset not sending email to registered email id - URGENT

Hi

I am facing some serious problem in logging in zencart admin as my old password is not working nor the reset password for admin is happening
i select the forgot password and the registered email id. i get a msg that the password reset has been sent to the email but dont receive anything.

also, no emails are being sent from my zencart when orders are placed. this started from just last 2 days. and hence i wanted to login to the admin module to check.
can someone help as I dont have anyway now to login to the admin module to process orders too.
