I've just installed on a Linux server and started testing. I'm getting this error whenever i try to checkout, sign up, add a login. when i try to add a login the error appears at the bottom of the address details box in place of country. there is no save or continue button either.

I've been all over the forum looking at every thread i see with this problem but i don't see any answers?? the logs don't really show anything either. the only time it writes to the log is when i check out with PayPal and that gives me all the PayPal verification, no errors.

my DB is up and i can query it.

i have another installation that works just fine so I'm not sure what went wrong here.
