Install Link Doesn't Work Properly

Trying to install a new site using geek host and every time I click on the index.php in the zc install file, it wants to save the file and download it, or open is with dreamweaver instead of opening it in the browser and start the installer as always happened before. I even tried to open the installer manually by typing in the install page.No luck, it stil wants to save it as a file download. http://www.onlypureessentialoils.com...tall/index.php.
Any idea's as to what is wrong?

Somewhat of a server setup issue is my consideration. The server doesn't seem to know what to do with a file that has the extension of php. This type of thing can often be addressed/corrected in an existing .htaccess file at the root of the store or in the directory "above" that (mind you the absence of one in your ZC catalog directory is expected as it is unnecessary to run ZC). Or by some form of setup in your cPanel, or whatever is needed by your host in order to include/use PHP... ultimately your host ought to be able to help you with this issue as it is not really caused by ZC, just so discovered.

Thanks for the info. it was in the .htaccess file. Geek Host support guy fixed it for me super fast.
