    Default Missing Link

I have had to do a clean build. I have the same problem with both "easy_populate_csv_for_zencart_v1.5.x_v1.2.6.4" and 'EasyPopulate-4.master-ZC'.

From my backup I have uploaded all my images, over 2k and then uploaded the '.csv' files. The problem is now that the images for a lot of my products do not 'link' together so what you will see is missing images. What have I done wrong and how can I put this right? I do have over 800 products. My home page

    Thank you

Well, just tried to navigate your site a little, technically just the main page. Url for the image of 50 Clear Display Bags - For 6 by 6 Card & Envelopes was: http://cards.adbsupplies.co.uk/image...bags/CB116.jpg which went to a non-existent image, so you would have to indicate if that is an existent image or not. To me it is not so much an issue with either of the two plugins, but instead the relationship of the file(s) to the information provided. The image data stored in the database for a standard install is the path to the main image as it relates to the DIR_WS_IMAGES directory. If that operation has been changed in a previous version of the store, then it may need to be changed the same way again.

Never explained "why the clean build" had to be done.

That bit I do not understand. I told this machine to upload all my pictures but it seems to have decided to select some of them, so doing another upload now.

machines will currently only do what you tell them, in general, the machines we operate on do not decide to do things on their own.

all of your images reside on a location on your web server. when looking at a product page or product listing, there is a link to where the product image resides on the server.

from the looks of it, where you uploaded the images is NOT where your website expects them to be.

from your cpanel, you generally have some sort of file manager. from there you can possibly see where you may have gone adrift in the uploading.

for example, here is where the website thinks an image should be:

    http://cards.adbsupplies.co.uk/image...CCASION101.jpg

now from the file manager, you have your document root, and there should be a directory called images, and within that directory another directory called hdc-luxury-topper-collection and finally a file called OCCASION101.jpg. if that file is not there, then you need to see where your upload went wrong.

if the file is there, then perhaps you have a permissions problem with your images.

    good luck.

Don't know what other changes you have made but wanted to let you know that your product information pages are not fully displaying. Would suggest checking your logs folder for errors.

I am going to remove both the images and the catalogue and reinstall both before I come back here with a further response.

I have no idea what I have done, but all is OK now. I do however have a box popping up saying 'An unknown response NULL: :text/html : charset=utf-8: SyntaxError......' etc. I have seen this before and it is a mod required. I will have a look for the forum page that mentions all the mods required. It is in here somewhere.
