Replacing background image with a video

Hello to you all!

I'm quite new in programming and I have much to learn but I was wondering if there's a possibility to use a video instead of a solid jpg background image.
Is it possible by changing the stylesheet.css document only?
And another question. A landing page with a video, where you can scroll down to your webshop from?
Is there anyone who has experience with this?
