add text message to checkout page (step 3)

Hello - I would like to add a text message to the final page of the checkout process which would be situated between 'Total' and 'Confirm Order' - this message would include a link to a product category (preferably in a color highlighted text box similar to how it appears below, but not essential).

I have looked at the Better Together plugin by swguy however it is not really suitable as there is only the one link required - unless the below can be achieved using that plugin?.

example would be;

Do you require a long 'over the bump' chain? if so click this link to our (link > Chains and Cords category) to select your choice and then add to cart

If there is already text where you want to add your additional text, you can just edit your template's language file:

/includes/languages/english/your_theme/checkout_something.php

If there is no text where you want to add your text, you will need to edit the relevant php file:

/includes/templates/your_theme/templates/tpl_checkout_something.php


If you are unsure which file you need to edit, search using the Developers Toolkit in Admin: Tools --> Developers Toolkit


Remember to make back ups of any files before you edit them.
