The control thing worked on my home page but did nothing on my category pages, let me reboot and i'll be right back. I really appreciate the help

After navigating to a category page, I see/saw something similar of having one column of images rather than rows.

So, now that an issue is confirmed (though one was resolved through adjusting the screen zoom), this issue of attempting to upgrade and rolling back... how was all that performed?

Technically if had followed the guidance offered on the forum, restoring both the database and fileset should have resolved it, though technically also following that advise there should have been nothing modified about the live store until a development store was seen as satisfactory.

I'll try to locate the file(s) that are expected to handle the category's product listing, but I'm also wondering if there is yet another setting to be modified that is escaping me at the moment.

I believe my problem was I forgot to put the live site in maintenance mode while I loaded my demo site. at which point I couldn't get into either so I ended up doing away with the demo site and that got the live site live again. and before when the screen got smaller so did the pictures (which they still do) and befor all 3 pictures got smaller and stayed. but now the pictures get smaller but the one picture moves to the next line. but I can't get the category pages to work at all.

I see if you click on the <new products> and <all products> link (under the category links on left of page) I get just one per row but they stretch the whole width and look acceptable. If you click on the <specials> link they are 3 across... I am certainly confused at this point. I built the site myself but some time ago and just can't remember where all the places are for the product information specs.

you mentioned earlier restoring the 'fileset' ... what's that?

I don't know if you saw my category pages as to what I was talking about. I spent hours and I got it to where there is still only one item per row but at least it is now readable... at least better than before. I will keep working but if you can find a solution it would help. what I did was in the <includes/modules/my template/product_listing.php> I changed a couple of the <columns> settings. But still need to find the solution to get 3 columns in a row like the home page.

A quick fix to force a correction;

stylesheet.css on line 727 for .centerBoxWrapper h2 - add this:

width:100%;


You have some HTML Validation issues, incorrect ULs and DIVs and should use a Validator to find where they are. Should tell which files need correcting.
