Nochex payments: VAT wrong in admin but correct on order confirmation

Hi, Strange problem just been pointed out to me by a customer. They placed an order and the order confirmation shows the correct amount of VAT but when they view the invoice/order from within their customer area (and also when I view the details from within admin) the VAT amount is more than it should be.

Confirmation email says:
Sub-Total: £27.76
Flat Rate (Courier): £7.50
vat: £7.05
Total: £42.31

Admin area says:
Sub-Total: £27.76
Flat Rate (Courier): £7.50
vat: £8.55
Total: £43.81

Can someone please help me resolve this issue? zen cart vrs 1.5.0

I have set this to true and false and the result is the same, In admin the vat is wrong

When you originally posted, you indicated that you're running Zen Cart 1.5.0; is that correct? I ask mostly because it's going to be "difficult" to help correct any issue with a version of Zen Cart that was released 5 years ago.

Yes that is correct and it has been so heavilly modded that it cannot realistically be upgraded to a later version. It has been working fine until now. Just because it is five years old it should still be fixable, ( I have 2 sites still running 1.3.9h ) I just need to know why and how vat can be wrong in admin and correct everywhere else please

UPDATE

It is only orders that are paid for through the "Nochex" payment method that are being affected, so it must be a problem with their module or their system reporting back to admin. I will question them on this and post back here if it gets resolved.

Are you using some sort of VAT plugin, or are you configuring the built-in Zen Cart taxes?

P.S. Just because the site's heavily modded doesn't preclude it from an upgrade.

I use the "inc vat ex vat" plugin, but I disabled that and the problem still ocurred.

For me it precludes upgrading, I tried it before and so many mods stopped working it was not viable.

BTW the "inc vat ex vat" plugin is just for display purposes on the product pages. Vat is worked out by zen cart
