How to change the coupon code in the welcome email?

Hi



I have looked everywhere including searching these forums and so far could not find an answer how to change the coupon code in the welcome email. I am using 1.5.5d which is the latest version. I have tried to use the Developers Tool Kit and can't find the file I need to edit


What I need changing is in the green box see image below.




Can Anyone Help?

The code is auto-inserted for you based on the settings in Admin->Configuration->GV Coupon

I have done that but the GV code in the green part is different does that matter?

GV means "Gift Voucher", or some people call them "Gift Certificates".
GV Codes are randomly generated, and issued (and tracked) to the specific customer, for their own personal use.

They are not coupons.

Coupon codes are created by you when you create the coupon (if you give a coupon code, else it will generate a random one for you). You can see all the coupon codes in your store using Admin->Discounts->Coupon Admin
For the Welcome Email, you can specify one of your existing coupons to be included in the welcome message. You must supply that coupon code in the Admin->Configuration->GV Coupon screen, else it will not be offered in the welcome email.
