Module For Monthly or Quarterly Purchase Reminders?

Hey guys,

What's the best and easiest to setup/use module for sending product purchase reminders? Preferably automated once setup. We sell certain products that need to be changed every few months so we want to setup an email reminder system for those customers who purchased that particular product.

I thought Mailbeez had something like this but maybe not. I wonder if the birthday module could be adapted to do something like this? Or perhaps the built-in product notification feature?

I thought the Mailbeez WinBack module would suffice but I don't think it would after some research. That basically just auto contacts customers after they haven't made a purchase in a while and offers them a coupon. I'm wanting a specific reminder system for certain products (These products should be replaced every 30-60 days). Sends the customer an email saying "Hi Joe, It's almost time to replace product 1337 - http://urldotcom".

I've been looking now for a few weeks and I can't see a module that fits this. I think the birthday module or any of the basic re-engagement modules could probably be adapted but that would be waaaaaaay beyond my knowledge lol. I know it would have to pull orders -30 days from the DB with specific product sku's and send that customer an email.

http://www.mailbeez.com/documentatio...ez/newsletter/ has already some related features, e.g. segment recipients by products purchased / not purchased, so you could already send an email to every customer who purchased product 1337 - currently the timeframe is static, so you would need to adopt the timeframe manually before sending out the reminder.

Hey Cord,

That's awesome. I'll probably wait till you get that module started / finished and use that one once it's available. My boss has been after something like that for a few years so he'll be happy! Newsletter sounds great but we would 100% need this to be automated once setup as the office gets a bit hectic at times.
