    Not sure of the potential tongue-in-cheek statement of it being harder, I mean changing it in the database is relatively easy, it just applies site-wide unless... if it were desired for a single page to have a different definition than the rest of the site, a single file placed in includes/extra_configures that checks for the current page to be the one that is loaded and to have the unique define then defines the variable would override whatever was in the database. But... things do get a little more pliant with the way DrByte suggested. :)

    By "affect every page" I meant: there IS one, and only one define. It is defined specifically by what you enter in the Admin setting I mentioned. That define applies site-wide.

    If you want to override it for a SPECIFIC upload instance, you do it via $the_class->set_extensions(array of one-off extensions) ... as you have experienced.

    If you also want the messageStack to list your one-off extensions, make the change I posted in #47
    .
