    Default Technical emails

    I keep getting emails from my site, numbering in the hundreds, every time a customer buys something. They are all technical in nature. I am wondering how to turn that off?

    Typically, the subject lines are:
    IPN DEBUG message (1484974277_2avE) #14
    getLineItemDetails 8
    ec_step 1-1
    ec-step 1-addr_check
    getOverrideAddress-4
    ec-step1-addr_check3
    ec_step1 - 2 -submit
    PayPal Debug log - SetExpressCheckout

    ec_step2
    ec_step2_finish - 1 (and 2, 4, 6, 7)
    findMatchingAddressBookEntry - 1-stats
    findMatchingAddressBookEntry - 2-read for match
    findMatchingAddressBookEntry - 3a
    findMatchingAddressBookEntry - 3b
    ec_step2_finish - 8
    PayPal test Log - terminateEC-A
    termEC-2 (and 3, 4, 6, 10)
    before_process - EC-1 (and 2, 3, 4, 5)

    IPN DEBUG message (1484974277_2avE) #1 (and, 2 through 15)
    getLineItemDetails 7 - subtotal comparisons

    I'm getting these with EVERY ORDER!

    How do I stop the madness? I am sure I must have checked something but I haven't been able to find anything in Admin.

    HELP!

    You should be able to change the setting for your PayPal in Admin/payment modules. You probably have it on LOG and EMAIL. Try just LOG. You'll still get details in your log files incase you need to debug.

    Be sure to keep an eye on how many logs are being generated as well. That feature is typically used for debugging when a problem has been identified, not just for each and every use/purchase.

    I generally clean my logs daily for anything over a month old. You should be able to sort them by date in your cPanel.
