To all of the helpers on this..Thank you! Big thanks to Ajeh.
We have a testing site that we use in case of problems like this. It's an "exact" copy of our regular ZC site.
ZB/includes/configure.php was looking at all of the proper directories and filepaths, while ZB/your_secret_admin/includes/configure.php was linking to the ZC directories and filepaths.
I changed the admin/configure.php to look at the right directories and everything works great.
