    Default Download Abort

    Hi,
I have the following problem: I have lots of download-products in my shop (1.5.5). Everythings works fine.
The problem is that the downloads regulary abort after a few minutes.

Many many thanks for any help or hint in advance!

A few minutes? How big are these files? You may need to split the file into chunks, though for some reason I'm trying to remember if there is some sort of setting that can be adjusted to allow for longer download times, but at the point of downloading, it's really between the server and the receiver. What does your host say about the issue?

Agreed: why are your downloads taking "several minutes" to download?

Can you isolate the issue to something like: customer A buys something, and clicks to start a download, while customer B buys a download, and then clicks to start a download, which breaks the customer A download that's still-in-progress-because-its-taking-several-minutes? If so, switch from Download-By-Redirect to Download-By-Streaming instead.
