    includes/classes/upload.php - when opening up original and also when pasting in the new code get "there is a syntax error on line 173"

    Code:
                    $this->extensions = [$extensions];
                }
            } else {
                $this->extensions = [];

    That's because you're using an old version of PHP.

    ... then your Dreamweaver support for PHP versions is going to be soon outdated. In PHP 5.4 support was added for short syntax for arrays using square-brackets instead of spelling out array(). If you want your Dreamweaver PHP auto-inspect to understand newer syntaxes, you'll want to investigate updating that feature.
