Check out crashing

I just got notified by a customer that every time he tries to check out the site crashes. It gives an Error of HTTP 500.

What could be causing this. It was working fine.

Error 500 ... implies that there's a debug-log in your store's /logs folder (or /cache for older Zen Carts).

checkout_shipping when i shopping a product and click a checkout button do not redirect to login page but fire a timeout message,
