    I disabled mod security in httaccess file, so its safe to say that its not the problem.

    1.5-->1.55e

    Couple of oddities....
    After install I never got the message You must change your admin file name.

    Also, I can see the back end but not the front end. After I logged in, I got a message that said I was in maintenance mode. So, I changed that to false. Still no change, blank home page, and this in apache log:
    [client 71.0.69.137:62167] PHP Fatal error: Class 'notifier' not found in /home/scanmyid/public_html/includes/autoload_func.php on line 79

    NO!

    Can you provide what is in the public_html/.htacces file?

    You seem to be moving pretty quick with trying different things and getting various errors msg. because of that. Between the time you post and someone replies, could be you've solved some things and/or moved on and now getting other errors. If you detail exactly what was done and what problem occurred, then leave as is, a reply may be helpful to the situation.

    I had no htaccess after the install. In fact, the install readiness said I was missing htaccess. Not sure why it wasnt installed with zc. So I added a zc htaccess file found in other directories after the install. That caused a problem with forbidden access. So I deleted that and now I dont get the forbidden access but I do get a blank page on front end. Back end works fine.

    To my knowledge Zen Cart has never provided a public_html/.htaccess file so you are not missing anything there. The blank page problem can be researched using the Wiki or FAQ section, links at top of this page, for previous solutions.

    Blank page solution is the first place I went. Apache error is still showing missing notifier in autoloader.php

    ok, so i needed a trailing slash....

    what about the htaccess files in all of the directories? When I copy it into the store directory I get forbidden error.
