Put "SOLD" label to products unavailable

Hi guys! Do you know how or any addon to let me show a label of "SOLD" to products that was already sold? I'm creating a ZC shopping for a friend and I thought that this was in the system but is not. When she upload a product and I buy it, it simply disappear on the frontpage.
I would like the product still be shown but with a SOLD label. Any idea?

It is to an extent. Meaning some modification would be necessary to change the wording to show "SOLD" as compared to "out-of-stock" or as you are seeing the "disappearance" of the product.

These settings are located in the admin->configuration->stock section of the configurations.

The concepts that are looking for are, products status in catalog when out of stock should be set to: 1 is the value.
Other settings applicable are:
Check stock level: true
Subtract stock: true
Allow checkout:false

There is the "expected" file/location and then there is what can be done at the site to identify specifically.

I just took what seems like a vanilla install of ZC 1.5.5e with the default responsive template turned on and copied a product to have a quantity of 0 and the only on page indication about the product was that the add-to-cart button was changed to "Sold Out".

Ie. if/when looking at a page that has that image (if it is an image), "right-click" and review the details of the image. A path should be present/available for an image. The file that is represented at that location could have the image replaced.

If the button is css button made from text, then the text can be sought in the developers tool kit and replaced in the applicable language file(s).

Thanks a lot. I used Dreamweaver to make a search into the code of all the files and the button name is in "button_name.php" . Thanks a lot for give the clue.
