A blog for the store?

Someone asked for a blog for zencart, I dont know what to use.

I thought maybe I could make a page that listed ez-pages and call the page Articles, like this:

copy code from ez-pages sidebar template (Layout Boxes Controller), past it into Page 4 (xxx> call it /articles)
Set the page to show footer ez-pages (as template does not use them)
xxx> and maybe has a trunched description of contents under each link


but maybe there is a better option

You can also integrate WordPress. There is a module by divavocals , and one by numinix , to accomplish this.

I used the divavocals version succesfully on zc 1.5.5 and Responsive Sheffield Blue 2.0. (I discontinued blog so can't show you).

There was a small glitch setting up that was actually a glitch with the layout controller adapting RSB 2.0 to zc 1.5.5 - once found it was an easy fix.

In the wp4zen mod you install WordPress in the root of your site. The mod creates sideboxes on your site where you show blog headings by title/date etc. There is an inexpensive premium version of the mod which adds more choices. The sideboxes contain links to your Wordpress Blog. I styled my blog page to match the colors etc of my shop page and added a BLOG link in my main header menu. It all looked very seamless IMO. Only reason I dropped the mod was I didn't have time to keep up blogging.
