Navigation resultes in setting item quantity at 0 displaying (sold out button)

resluts in setting item quantity at 0 displaying (sold out button)

In admin all products show no change in product quantity ...

Q- is there a way to turn off (Filter Results by:) and ( quantity/ item name/ price ) bar?

It's simply showing the 2 items that are out of stock first since it is sorting by quantity.

You can turn things on and off in this page in configuration>product listing

The display showing (out of stock) items, is in fact bogus. There is nothing out of stock. I have turned off showing quantity, however showing price is desirable. Example of false display... from home, click category Art/ then category Chakra/ then filter price/ shows Scroll Painting 10-15 (sold out), it is not sold out. Cart will re-set to correct information if start over, click home/art/chakra/
if click filter name, shows correct listing, click name again shows, Scroll Painting 14 (sold out) again the item is not sold out. This is not effecting database. it is a temporary false return.

The product info page for both, Scroll Painting 14 and Scroll Painting 10-15 also show 'Sold Out' (meaning no Add to Cart button). So it would seem the Search results are correct.

You should double check quantities within the Admin section.

Perhaps also the confusion may have been related to information on the product information page suggesting that the product status is "in stock" (see the first set of radio buttons on the page). When I first started using ZC, I didn't understand the statement, myself. I can't say that I've come up with better words yet though either. :/

A product that is identified as in stock on this part of the page does not mean that there are quantity greater than 0 available. It basically means should the product be displayed to customers or not.

There are settings in the admin->configuration->stock area that change how things are handled such as when the quantity of a product reaches or goes below 0 during a purchase transaction. In a situation that appears to exist at this site, it wouldn't seem like the quantity of these product should be allowed to go below zero. Everything looks as if it is a one quantity supplied item, not some mass produced/duplicated item (whether that's intentionally made to look that way or not).
