problem with Shopping cart

We have v1.3.9h
PHP: 5.4.45 (Zend: 2.4.0)
MySQL 5.6.36

There is a problem with Shopping cart.
When I have added an item to Shopping cart. It don't work.
I don't see any an additional item. Shopping cart don't produce.

What ideas can be?

Your v1.3.9h Zen Cart is not compatible with your current PHP version (5.4.45).

Some webhosts provide a cPanel tool to adjust the PHP version on which your site runs. If yours is one, you need to drop the PHP version to 5.2.17 (preferably) or a 5.3.x version while you plan your site's Zen Cart upgrade. That will enable your store to run a more secure (and supported) version of Zen Cart on a more secure (and supported) version of PHP.

You MIGHT be able to get it to work but, 1.3.9h was designed for PHP 5.5.x. Regardless, anything PHP 5.5 and under is considered obsolete.

This version of MySql will work with 1.5.5e but, your 1.3.9h was built for no higher than version 5.1

It appears that you have a server that has left you behind. AND..., a strange server at that. Fairly new MySQL yet old, obsolete PHP.

I doubt the server/host is going to want to back up to suit your version of Zen Cart nor is it a good idea to do so. You seriously need to consider upgrading to the latest version. 1.5.5e will temporarily run on your server well enough to upgrade. After upgrade, your PHP will need to be raised to PHP 5.6 or higher to avoid further problems in the near future. 5.6 is already in the "Security Support Only" phase. Only PHP versions 7.0 and 7.1 are currently in Active Support.

You cannot. Upgrade of Zen Cart is required and you might as well upgrade to newest version - 1.5.5e.
