    Default Banner Style Image

    I would like to include a picture in the centre of the stores homepage rather than products etc.

    I looked into the banners but those seem to go the whole width of the page dropping the categories below it. This is what I`m trying to achieve ..

    Name:  888.jpg
Views: 129
Size:  35.0 KB

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    I would have made it by html code such as "a href"... in that page.

    Can this be done via banners or is it a case of putting some code in the index.php file?

    You can have a look here: Link

    In Admin->tools->define editor->define main page:
    <img src="/images/your-picture.jpg" width="722px" alt="bla bla"
    title="bla bla" class="mainImage"/>
    <div class="mainText">
    <h1>
    here goes some text....

    and you will need to make a css file accordingly.

    I'm not that bothered about text I just want an image there.

    I understand the link to the image and the width etc however the rest goes over my head if I`m being honest. You mention about making a css file etc, any elaboration on your instruction would be a great help.

    Great to hear you succeeded.
    The CSS is meant to make it responsive...so when you look at the link I sent (picutre with text) in smaller screens
    the picture and text will be organized differently.
