Re: I have an error with MySQL when it executes a querty
you need to go to
Admin -> Tools -> Server/version Info
and then search for:
max_allowed_packet
that number is too small....
you can work with your hosting company to see how to get that config value higher. the procedure will vary depending on your server configuration.

Thanks but this the first time I got such message ... and I had Zen Cart over the years and since 2016 is sitting on a brand new VPS.

brand new VPS - does not mean that it is properly configured for running a ZC site. Originally Posted by icecold

again, the error is definitely a server side issue. it is not a ZC issue. so whoever handles your server and its administration should be able to resolve it; assuming your VPS has enough resources for the amount of traffic your server receives.
