ezpage for home page?

I am looking to have a home page that is basically a large photo, like a gateway page. I know you can have the main page open to a category, but is there an easy way to have the main page open to an ez page? I have modified the css background but of course the background image will appear in all pages, which i dont want.

Could you not specify the css for the home page only? As mentioned in CSS_read_me.txt

I read that. My understanding was that you could do changes to pages like privacy, shipping contact, etc, but the main page css effects all items and categories I think. So, if I could create a ezpage with different css and have the home page open to that I would be happy. I suppose I could do a permanent redirect, but that would be bad for SEO

Ah, I see it now, index_home.css. I was looking for main_page.css
