Template Issue

Carlwhat,

I made both the changes that you requested again, re-uploaded to the server, and turned PHP v7.1 back on. I have been waiting all day for the new error logs to show in the includes/logs folder but I don't have any new logs since 10/30/17. Not sure why the new issues are not posting with the changes I have made.

I did go directly to my server and in my server logs I do have these errors showing for today:

Don't know if that helps. I just don't know why the logs the past few days are not showing in the includes/logs. The primary category pages still hang, so there should be some errors I would assume. I didn't turn anything off that I am aware of.

you have a number of different issues going on.

the last log files represent either a file not found or a permissions issue w a couple of font files. this file:

YOUR_STORE_ROOT/includes/templates/yourstore/font/style.css

here is looking to load

YOUR_STORE_ROOT/includes/templates/yourstore/font/fonts/MaterialIcons-Regular.woff2

as well as:

YOUR_STORE_ROOT/includes/templates/yourstore/font/fonts/fontawesome-webfont.woff2

neither one of those files are found or there is a permission problem. curiously enough, both of these files are there:

YOUR_STORE_ROOT/includes/templates/yourstore/font/fonts/MaterialIcons-Regular.woff
YOUR_STORE_ROOT/includes/templates/yourstore/font/fonts/fontawesome-webfont.woff

so the directory structure is solid. and woff2 seems to be a valid extension. if you do not those files, you can download them here:

that is problem #1.

problem #2, lets call the non-numeric problem. my fixes addressed those problems. that is why you are no longer seeing those error messages.

problem #3 is the real problem. i do not think something in the template or extension is ready for php7.1. there should be another error log and/or message for it.

i think we addressed the first error logs, and did not realize that was NOT the problem that is causing the page to hang. so we would need to figure that out.

although right now this page works:

although you still have a few console errors.
