How to send coupons to newly registered users, only new registered customers

ZC offers the ability to distribute a coupon code for users that are new. This is set in configuration->GV coupons, the coupon code can be generated by following the instruction at: https://www.zen-cart.com/content.php...mers-to-redeem

As to determining if the user using the code is a new user, I believe that would be some custom coding, but it could be possible that ZC offers limitations to the customer trying to use a new user code when previous purchases have been made or the coupon hasn't been specifically identified to the user. I would suggest testing the process on a development site and then coming back with specific information about how it works and what you would like to be different to support your business need(s).
