    Default Blank site after installing using Plesk control panel

    Changed hosts and moving the site.

    ZC154
    PHP5.6.1

    My first install of ZC was in 2005, and have only ever done our site. With my new host, I have been battling for 2 days.

    The install tutorial mentions to use directory:

    Basically, in your FTP area look for a "www" or "public_html" or "htdocs" or "httpdocs" or "wwwroot" folder.
    Done:

    I found settings in Plesk

    Document root directory - point to /httpdocs in /Websites & Domains/Hosting settings

    FTP

    all files to /httpdocs - all present

    MySQL

    Created DB via control panel

    Manually associated the SQL DB to "MY_DOMAIN_NAME"; and pointed to the localhost:3306 via ZC setup with related values and passwords.

    checked DB table with PHPMyAdmin - all tables present as populated by ZC

    Install

    All steps followed.

    I still have a blank website

    Another setting that I made was to point to index.php as the default in the control panel is index.html

    A white page usually creates a debug file. Did you check the logs folder?

    This might help with the more recent timezone issue, but there may still be a bigger issue.

    Specifically look at the second post in that thread as it should relate more to your configuration as of ZC 1.5.2 and above.

    As pointed out by carlwhat, your server knows where to look for files because it can access the subfolder extras, but ZC needs to know where to go by way of the includes/configure.php file and then similarly the admin/includes/configure.php file.

    Then once those point to the right location there is the issue of what is allowed to be done at, to, with the path information which is where the specific file/folder permissions come into play.

    The lack of additional files in the logs directory while still getting either a blank page or other errors further leans to a problem in the includes/configure.php file and it not pointing to the correct location(s).

    There have been, yes, all with little tweaks like creating dir names as preferred by both the host (domain name) or public_html; httpdocs; fresh installs were done in case anything was overlooked/corrupted or otherwise.

    I have no coding experience, so would assume that the names need to match the config file naming.
