I should have mentioned to paste the code/info after pressing the # button in the messagebox toolbar. This results in

tags between which the pasted text will be placed and better readability onscreen.

Anyways.

The file looks correct assuming the path itself is right for DIR_FS_CATALOG, so the next thing(s) I would think would be the permissions issue (ie can the server allow access to visitors to the folders/files). ZC offers information about this at the following FAQ which was found by searching for "permissions" in the FAQ search (upper right corner): https://www.zen-cart.com/content.php...-files-folders

So I went to the article you cited: https://www.zen-cart.com/content.php...-files-folders and as it instructed changed all the files listed to 755 (they were all at 705), but then when I right click on them again in the FTP program, they still show at 705.
Got an idea why the changes aren't "sticking"?

Use the file manager within your goDaddy cpanel

I must be missing the process, cuz the file manager within the godaddy cpanel seems to allow only changing the Privacy one file at a time, and don't see how to change permissions numerically (only through check boxes). But the files I looked at do show permissions consistent with "755", in their popup box, godaddy does not show a "Group", only Web user permissions and Owner permissions.

Is this the process that you used? https://www.godaddy.com/help/set-permissions-2535

The instructions at https://www.godaddy.com/help/set-permissions-2535 don't present in the same fashion.
There is a menu for Files & FTP, but not a choice to select for FTP File Manager. The only choices are File Manager and FTP Users. Apparently 1,000s of site affected as support wait time at godaddy is 45+ minutes.
But like I mentioned, it seems that the "permissions" are proper showing Read and Execute on web users, and Read, Write, Execute on owner.

Any other things to check?

No, doesn't look like that. Those button across the top look like a presentation from several years back.

I haven't had a Godaddy account for years. I do have a client that uses them still and I have their login information, I will contact them now to see if I can get permission to access it again just to look around for you.

When you log into your account, do you see "web hosting"? and after clicking on that, a spot that says "manage"(for the site in question) and then under "tools" there should be the "FTP file manager"?

I haven't heard back from them yet, just curious what you see.
